Strong Customer Relationships

We are dedicated to building long-term partnerships based on trust, communication, and mutual success.

Production Process

Our manufacturing process is designed to ensure efficiency, quality, and transparency at every stage:

Initial Consultation

We begin with a detailed consultation to understand your project requirements, specifications, and timelines to ensure we can meet or exceed your expectations. We are happy to sign NDAs or fill out new vendor forms as necessary.

Design Review and DFM Feedback

Our engineering team reviews your design files and provides expert DFM feedback to optimize manufacturability, reduce costs, and improve product performance. At a minimum, we typically request the Bill of Materials (BOM), Gerber or ODB++ files, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings, as well as any other pertinent instructions so that we can provide the best service.

Quoting Process

We will source quotes to specific vetted suppliers from our approved vendor list based on the design and requirements of the assembly, matching capabilities to the job to optimize costs and lead-times all while providing the highest quality service. We will provide a tiered quote to you, with the quantity price breaks requested, as well as the expected lead-time. Additionally, for those customers with supply chain limitations, ITAR requirements, or specific country of origin sourcing restrictions, we are well versed in supporting those needs.

Component Procurement

We prefer providing turnkey solutions to keep your total end cost down, but we are able to accommodate kitted assembly services as well. For turnkey projects we procure all necessary components, hardware, PCBs, and supplies, leveraging our strong relationships with trusted suppliers. We use lot tracking for all components so we are able to accommodate assembly traceability requirements as needed. For kitted projects, we manage your supplied components with meticulous care.

Manufacturing and Assembly

Our skilled technicians utilize state-of-the-art equipment to assemble your products with precision and efficiency in accordance with IPC requirements and customer documentation. We adhere to strict quality control procedures throughout the entire process.

Testing and Inspection

100% of assemblies will go through several thorough inspections throughout the manufacturing process, including multiple 2D/3D AOI steps, visual inspections, and a final inspection. We will perform a range of testing based on your requirements, from automated X-ray inspection, to functional, JTAG, or other testing, to ensure product quality and reliability.

Packaging and Shipping

We carefully package your finished products in ESD bags and appropriate cushioning inside our boxes designed to comply with ISTA 3A shipping standards. We also offer drop shipping services to streamline logistics and reduce delivery times to your customers.

FAQs

Our assembly process includes design review, parts procurement (for turnkey projects), SMT and through-hole assembly, soldering, testing, inspection, and packaging.

We offer a wide range of services, including turnkey and kitted PCB assemblies, conformal coating, X-ray and AOI inspection, functional and custom testing, design for manufacturing feedback, obsolescence management, rapid prototyping, box builds, mechanical design, and drop shipping.

We have three SMT lines, each equipped with two dual-gantry Europlacer SMT machines including two iiNEO IIs, an iiNEO+ N2, two XPii, and ii-Atom 2 models. Each machine is capable of between 10,000 and 35,000 CPH placement rate. Each SMT line is equipped with a 10-zone ERSA reflow oven, and a screen printer with solder paste inspection.

We also have three ERSA selective soldering machines, and three Mirtec AOI machines, as well as a multitude of advanced test/inspection equipment including a Nordson DAGE X-ray machine, waveform generators, benchtop multimeters, and more.

Given the efficiency of our manufacturing process, we currently run one production shift and maintain capacity for any quick-turn jobs needed for customers. When the need arises, we are capable of implementing a swing shift to double our manufacturing capacity to meet customer demands.

Our lead times vary depending on the project complexity, volume requirement, and manufacturer lead-time of certain parts. We work closely with our clients to establish realistic timelines and meet their specific needs. Normal lead time for most PCBs is four to five weeks, even for larger quantity HDI boards. There are very few new jobs we cannot finish within a few weeks upon receiving parts and PCBs in house. Repeat job lead times will run faster due to all engineering and programming processes being completed already. We are built for high-mix, and can handle quick-turn prototypes (5-500) to large-volume production runs (10,000+). We completed more than 200,000 complex assemblies in 2024 alone.

We are ITAR registered and ISO 9001:2015 certified. Our quality management system is designed to comply with AS9100D standards. Our employees are certified to J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC-7711/7721. We also have CMMC Level 1 Certification.

Yes, we have a robust counterfeit parts program to ensure the authenticity and reliability of all components used in our assemblies. We use only vetted and approved vendors, and all employees receive the counterfeit parts training. We maintain copies of all certificates of compliance for parts we receive.

We have Mirtec 2D and 3D AOI machines, Nordson DAGE Automatic X-ray with X-Plane CT Scan technology, and a wide range of equipment for functional testing. We can also provide JTAG, Cisco board, and custom testing when desired.

While we do not have an ISO 14644 certified clean room, we maintain a clean and controlled manufacturing environment to minimize contamination and ensure product quality. We invite you to come visit our manufacturing facility at any time – we think you will be impressed!
